Barkly Regional Arts proudly presents the Desert Harmony Art & Culture Festival 2010 in Tennant Creek from August 28 until September 5. The festival is an annual event celebrating the region's thriving and vibrant cultural mix of Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists, musicians, dancers and writers. Highlights include 2010 DanceSite, presented by Artback NT: Arts Development and Touring; Melbourne-based West African group Mandinka Sound, toured by Artback NT and Kultour; Two Worlds Youth Performance  and the launch of the Barkly Artists Installation Project. Over the nine days visitors are invited to stay and share in the music, film festivals, visual arts, performance, poetry, traditional dance, circus and other festivities.
